With over 15 years of experience working in various areas of the entertainment industry, Mustafa has a proven track record in advancing the success of artists, producers, and digital media platforms. Mustafa’s past lived experiences have also guided his passion for the non- for profit space, with a focus on offering mentorship to those facing adversity through a variety of programs and workshops.

 

At 15 years old he signed a recording deal which started his career as a hip hop artist. By the time he was 17, Mustafa owned and operated Mix n Hits Studio. He created a space where local up and coming artists could develop their artistic talent and receive guidance around the business aspects of their music career. It was this foundation of working within the music industry, that Mustafa understood the importance of positive mentorship through music.

 

In 2006, he launched North Block Entertainment, an artist management and event company which combined his knowledge of what was hot in the streets, and his personal drive for bringing young people together with positive influences in his community.
